Fall marks the beginning of a new term at Bedayati, where
our community training center opens its doors to a new
cohort of youth, seeking a second chance at education and
skills training.
We invite you to join us as we work to sustain youth
aspirations and raise critical funding in support of
Bedayati’s mission.

Bedayati Impact
Our mission is to act on social inclusion. Since 2020 we
have provided:
Upskilling: 182 youth have completed our foundational
skills training program in English, digital literacy,
financial literacy and soft skills. 24 women and youth
completed our entrepreneurship program in 2022. Nine
women and youth participated in a short professional
training in pastry in 2023.
Economic empowerment: 60 women and youth have
benefited from cash-for-work opportunities in our
Community Kitchen. Eight entrepreneurs are/will be
supported through zero-interest loans to set up their
own businesses in 2023.
Advocacy: Our Inclusive Employer Pledge invites
employers to join a growing movement of Lebanese
businesses who commit to build a more inclusive and
sustainable economy and society. Pioneering employers
have signed our Pledge including Bel Group, FDC, Cafe
Younes and Cedar Environmental.
Community: The Bedayati Kitchen has distributed over
70,000 wholesome meals to those who need them the most
in Lebanon.
Bedayati launched its second entrepreneurship program in
2023. Students pitched their business ideas to a jury of
coaches and industry experts in August.
The Bedayati Kitchen launched its first pastry skills
training course to empower women and youth keen to gain
culinary skills in baking and pastry making.
Bedayati launched a soft skills training in Saida, in
partnership with Sikka and CG-Fund. The 8-hour training
focused on CV writing, job interviews and LinkedIn.
